Named after Jeff & Sue Sweet’s son Jared, this successful annual golf tournament has raised over $160,000 to date to benefit PPMD (Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy). PPMD’s mission is to find a cure for Duchenne.

FLAT RIVER OUTREACH MINISTRIES

 

FROM is focused on bringing together individuals, families, churches, and businesses to respond to the needs of our neighbors, FROM offers more then a dozen programs related to healthy food, resource connection, housing and family support for individuals and families living in the Greater Lowell Area.

 

JEFF SWEET LASSO COMMUNITY scholarship

 

The Jeff Sweet LASSO Community Scholarship is administered by the LASSO Board and awarded to an Lowell High School senior who demonstrates a passion for sports, preferably soccer; strong involvement in the greater Lowell community; and leadership and service to younger athletes.

Involvement in youth sports (e.g. LASSO or other local youth sports organization), leadership, extracurricular activities and two letters of recommendation (one from a coach) are requirements for consideration of this one year award.
