The Lowell Area Select Soccer Organization (LASSO) is a non-profit soccer organization formed in 1997 to provide additional playing opportunities and experience to players looking for a higher level of soccer coaching and competition.
We promote competitive soccer by fielding teams within the GVSA conference. We strive to develop individual players to their highest potential.
LASSO offers teams for boys and girls from U7 (under age 7) up to U19. Number of teams created each season may change based on number of players.

Concessions
This was my daughters first year playing soccer. She is 10 years old and loves sports. Having no soccer experience myself I was somewhat lost on the entire process. However, after emailing the organization I received almost immediate and detailed responses on how to proceed. We started later in the season and missed tryouts. However, they allowed my daughter to be a practice player until tryouts occurred for the following season. This practice position helped build her confidence and ultimately allowed her to have a successful tryout and earn a spot in the team. Her first playing season just came to a close and she absolutely loved it. Her coaches were great and very knowledgeable in both the sport and the ability to coach. The sports app they used allowed for great team communication and directions to the away games. She can’t wait for the next season. I highly recommend LASSO for all those interested in Lowell competitive Soccer.

My daughter plays on Coach Jake’s U9 team. This is her first season playing soccer and she is having so much fun. She is a big fan of Coach Jake! He does such a great job making the game fun while teaching them the skills they need. He has a serious amount of patience!
